NHVC Gives Back

 NHVC believes in giving back.

NHVC was inspired to get involved with the Side out Foundation and their Dig Pink Campaign. Our teams raised over $1900 for Breast cancer research and also made 100 cards for Hospital patients. The girls competed in serving competitions where sponsors donated funds for every serve they made over and in. We also raised money by asking family and friends. The support this year was huge and we are thrilled everyone particpated in our 1st Dig Pink Day!

In 2017 NHVC  players and their families brought donations for Safe in Austin. We collected a ton of towels, blankets, cat food, litter, dog food, treats, toys and much more. We also made a trip out to tour this local non profit rescue group. We listened to stories of all the animals and the wonderful work they are doing there. We also decided to sponsor Bella. She is a rescue who had lost use of her back legs and was living on the streets alone. She is such a sweet girl and is getting the love she deserves now. For more info on how you can help Safe in Austin visit www.safeinaustin.org

We partened with Angel Covers ( www.angelcovers.org ) and Players, Coaches, Parents and even siblings wrote letter to students at Humble Hearts School in Africa. We also took donations and were able to get a volleyball net and ball for the school. The students worked hard to get the court up on game day and we were thrilled to receive pictures of the students enjoying the new equipment.  Visit Angel Covers website above to see how you too can get involved.

In 2020 our teams collected bags and bags of socks to help our homeless community.

In 2021 our 3 teams collected several boxes of toys to distribute to the Dell Childrens hospital.

In 2016 Our teams all brought donations for the Austin Animal Center. Filled the entire trunk!!

NHVC is a proud supporter of Holly's Hope. This local animal rescue group has helped save a ton of animals. They foster and rescue some of the most helpless animals in shelters. Please visit their site to see how you can help. http://hollyshoperescue.com/
